The
2007 Member Guest Golf Tournament
THE TOURNAMENT WILL BE NOVEMBER 8TH THRU NOVEMBER 10TH
The following information is provided to aid you in completing your entry form. Please click
here to download and print and a form. .
This year, due to increased costs and our commitment to
retain the tournament at previous levels, we will have a cost increase.
The cost will be $500.00 per team. The
entry form with a payment of $200.00 is due July 15th. The balance of
$300.00 will be due no later than September 15th.
Please make checks payable to The Country Club of Green Valley and note
on the check that it is for the Kokopelli Tournament.

If you don’t have all of your guest information go ahead
and submit your entry form and get your guest information to us as soon as
possible.
If you participated last year your entry will be
automatically accepted. If you did
not participate last year, your application will be accepted on a first come
first serve basis by the post mark on your entry form envelope.
Four month members may play as guests only.
The tournament will be limited to 72 teams.
Practice rounds are available on Wednesday November 7th
in the afternoon and Thursday November 8th in the morning or
afternoon. One practice round is
included in the tournament. Please
schedule your practice round with the Pro Shop.
The tournament will be November 9th and 10th.
The first day will be one best ball of the team with full handicap.
The second day will be Chapman format at 50% of the handicap index on the
front nine and the back nine will be a scramble at 20% of the handicap index.
You will be scheduled to play either morning or afternoon on the first
day and the opposite on the second day. Shotguns
will be at 8:00 AM & 12:30 PM on Friday and at 8:00 AM & 12:00 PM on
Saturday.
The tournament will be flighted and any tie for first place
in a flight will be played off immediately after the Saturday afternoon rounds
have been completed, Chapman Format. The
flight winners will then have a playoff to determine the overall Kokopelli
Championship Team, Best Ball Format.
HANDICAP INFORMATION FOR YOUR GUEST:
Please provide his GHIN #. If
unavailable, provide an alternate index number or club handicap with a club name
and phone number including the area code or a minimum of five completed score
cards, signed, dated and attested with the course rating and slope.
These scorecards must be submitted by September15, 2007. Failure to provide
this information may result in replacing your team in the tournament.
